download PuTTy from here: https://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/latest.html
after installing PuTTy, put in the remote network: 127.0.0.1 with username as per defined and port number as per configured in the port forwarding of that particular VM.
now you are connected to your VM via your PuTTy.
